Witness appeal following theft from a motor vehicle - Bernwood Forest Nature Reserve, Oakley

We are appealing for witnesses following a report of theft from a motor vehicle in the BERNWOOD FOREST NATURE RESERVE CAR PARK OAKLEY.

Today, between 13:00 and 14:00hrs, a theft from a motor vehicle occurred at Bernwood Forest Nature Reserve in Oakley. Items were taken from within the vehicle while it was left unattended. If you witnessed anything suspicious or have any information that may assist with the investigation, please contact Thames Valley Police quoting reference number 43250526739.

 This is not the first incident of this nature in the area, and we urge all visitors to remain vigilant. Please ensure that all personal belongings are removed from your vehicle when leaving it unattended to help prevent further thefts.

Investigating officer, PC Eleanor FENEMORE, based at WADDESDON POLICE STATION, said; “We would like to speak to anyone who has information, CCTV or dash cam footage within the area at this time to please come forward.
